Bill the way commercial work actually gets billed.
Deposits, milestone invoices, net 30 and PO numbers are built in. Clients pay by card or ACH on a page with the total and the pay button at the top.
Included on every plan. The platform fee applies on Starter only.
What it does
- 01
Progress billing
Milestone invoices come from the schedule on the estimate. Each one references the contract and shows what has been billed to date.
- 02
Deposits applied for you
The deposit invoice is created when the estimate is approved and shows up as a credit on the final invoice.
- 03
Net terms and PO numbers
Due on receipt, net 15, 30 or 45. Aging by 30, 60 and 90 days, and statements per client.
- 04
Your Stripe account, not ours
Payments are charged directly on your connected Stripe account. Payouts and disputes live in your Stripe dashboard.
- 05
Published rates
Card at 2.9% plus 30 cents and ACH at 0.8% capped at $5, which are Stripe's published rates. Starter adds a 0.25% platform fee. Pro and Business add nothing.
- 06
Reminders that stop when paid
A sequence at 3 days before, the due date, then 3, 10 and 30 days after. Your wording.
- 07
Surcharge or steer to ACH
An optional card surcharge with the required disclosure where it is legal, or show ACH as the lower-fee choice.
In practice
A 50 / 40 / 10 contract
- 1
The estimate is approved with a 50 / 40 / 10 schedule. The deposit invoice is paid by ACH on the spot.
- 2
At substantial completion you bill the next milestone with one action.
- 3
The last 10% is billed after the inspection passes.
- 4
The contract summary shows contract value, billed, paid and remaining the whole way through.
