Signature feature

The submittal, assembled while you watch.

Cover, door schedule, hardware sets, bill of materials, cut sheets, life-safety matrix and programming sheet in one branded PDF. When the job is commissioned, the same button builds the as-built with serials, test results and photos.

Included on Pro and Business.

How it works

Four steps. None of them is retyping.

  1. 1

Choose the site and the kind

Submittal before the install, as-built after commissioning. Pick the job for an as-built.

  2. 2

    Check readiness

Missing cut sheets, a draft matrix, unsigned commissioning checklists and devices without serials are listed with links to fix them.

  3. 3

    Pick the sections

Toggle what this architect or GC wants. Defaults match what is normally asked for.

  4. 4

    Share

A PDF link, a ZIP with photos and CSVs for the as-built, and a switch that puts it in the client portal and on the Door Passports.

What you get

Built in, not bolted on.

Submittal and as-built packages shares the same openings, estimates and price book as the rest of Rundown, so nothing is retyped.

  • 01

    A document, not a dump

Branded cover, running headers, page numbers, landscape pages for the wide tables and a contents list.

  • 02

    Cut sheet library

Upload a manufacturer PDF once on the price book item. Every package that uses the part merges it in with a divider page.

  • 03

    Life-safety matrix with approvals

The signed revision, with architect, consultant and AHJ names and dates, exactly as approved.

  • 04

    Programming sheet

Controller, port, opening, reader and credential format, grouped by panel for whoever programs it.

  • 05

    Commissioning and photos

Pass and fail per item per opening, who signed and when, and the after photos in a clean grid.

  • 06

    Revisions and tracking

Issue, revise, and see when a package was downloaded. Each revision keeps its own link.

Before the install

What the architect asked for, in the order they asked.

The 08 71 00 submittal is the same every time: schedule, sets, products, cut sheets, the matrix. Rundown already has all of it from the estimate and the openings, so the package is a selection, not a project.

  • Readiness check before you build, with links to the gaps
  • Bill of materials without prices, grouped by door
  • Approval signatures printed from the matrix revision

After commissioning

Close-out in an afternoon, not a week.

Serials scanned on the job, checklists signed on the door, photos tagged to openings. The as-built is those records in a binder, plus a ZIP the owner's IT team can file.

  • Devices with serial, firmware, installed date and warranty
  • Commissioning results per opening with notes
  • ZIP with photos by door and CSVs for openings, devices and programming

Questions

What format do cut sheets need to be?

PDF, uploaded on the price book item or linked by URL. Pages are copied into the package after a divider page that names the item and the doors that use it.

Who can see a package?

Anyone with the link, like a proposal. Flip Visible to client to list it in the client portal and on the Door Passport pages for that site. Costs and prices are never included.

How do revisions work?

Revise creates a new numbered revision with a fresh link and the same settings. Earlier revisions keep working, so what the AHJ already downloaded does not change under them.

What if some data is missing?

The package still builds. Missing cut sheets are listed on a final page, and the readiness check tells you before you share it.
