Live vendor pricing is on Pro and above. Rundown signs in to each distributor with your own account, so the prices you see are your prices.
Add a vendor
- 1Open Settings, then Vendors.
- 2Choose a vendor and enter your account number and portal login.
- 3Turn on pricing for that vendor. Rundown tests the login and shows the result.
Credentials are encrypted with a key for your account. They are never shown again and are never sent back to the browser. If a login stops working, the vendor shows a re-authenticate prompt.
Link items and refresh
- On a price book item, add a vendor link with the part number. Rundown fetches price, availability and branch stock.
- Linked items refresh every night.
- On an estimate, choose Refresh vendor prices to update costs on demand. You see a list of what changed before applying it.
- When a search returns several candidates, pick the right one and pin it. The pin is reused on future estimates.
Estimate lines that carry an IML Hot# or a Wesco CS# are routed straight to that vendor. Everything else is searched at every vendor you have enabled.
